User can send messages using the Leads tab as below:
For this, create new Lead if not already present using below steps:
Click the Leads tab.
Click New button.
Enter valid data in all fields as shown.
Click Save button, the new Lead is created.
Success message will be displayed once saved.
To send the message:
Click the Leads tab.
Select the desired Lead from where message is to be sent.
Now there are two ways to Send SMS as explained below:
A. Send SMS using the button:
Being on the Leads page, click Send SMS button on top right corner of the page, Send SMS page will be displayed showing the saved mobile number where the message will be sent.
Type the desired message in the given message body and then click Send button.
Success message will be displayed once the message is sent.
B. Send SMS using the side component:
On Leads, user has a facility to send messages using side bar component where user can type the message in the message body and click the Send button (blue rightward arrow button). Message will be sent.

Note: SMS Opt Out option
SMS Opt Out provides user a facility to deactivate the Send SMS feature on Leads
For this, user need to select the checkbox named SMS Opt Out and save the Lead.
Below screen will be displayed on the side component.
or below message after clicking the Send SMS button.
User can deselect this checkbox to activate the Send SMS feature again.
If SMS Opt In is enabled on configured page then below screenshots will be displayed on component.

Note: If user happen to see below message while sending then there is need to map the related field from the SMS Configuration page as below:

Note: User can provide primary number as well as secondary number mapping. This will be working as alternate number.
